Quantitative poverty standards in Indonesia by the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) are seen as unable to describe poverty comprehensively. This paper wants to provide a response and broaden the perspective on the achievement of single digit poverty figures in Indonesia in 2019 only in quantitative terms, not the sociological process. The author adds the context of poverty in post-disaster rural communities as a case of transient poverty in Indonesia as well as a key element of community empowerment. The author hopes to link the concepts of poverty, rural communities, and post-disaster community empowerment to enrich perspective on social work activities.

(A Case Study in Baduy Tribe)
This article aims to analyze the women participation in tourism activities in the Outer Baduy tribe according to the tourism components consisting of attractions, amenities, accessibility and ancillary. Using qualitative research method, in which data obtained through interviews, observations and documentation, it is found that there is women participation in two out of four tourism components, namely the attraction and the amenity. In the attraction, women possess more or less the same degree of participation as men, but in the amenity women may have higher degree of participation compared to men. In the accessibility, it is found that only men participation existed, so is in the ancillary. The limited degree of women participation is something that rooted deep in their culture and has been taken for granted. The women themselves do not have any objection considering the inequality and disparity because they consider their role as women lie in the domestic sector and not in the public sector.Rina Fitriana is a lecturer in Sahid Polytechnics, Jakarta, and a trainer for Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Republic of Indonesia. Reforming Controlled Foreign Corporations in Indonesia: Lessons Learned from BEPS Action Plan and Germany
The rise of cross-border multinational companies allows the occurrence of Controlled Foreign Corporation (CFC), which consequently gives rise to the risk of tax evasion. The OECD and G20 enacted the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Action Plan to recommend nations in adopting an ideal policy for CFC. In response, Indonesia promulgated Ministry of Finance Regulation No.93/PMK.03/2019, whereas Germany adopted the German Foreign Transaction Tax Act 1972. However, Germany was deemed more successful in maintaining the tax base of the nation from the conduct of CFC. Hence, this research was conducted to compare the CFC regulation in Indonesia and Germany as well as the OECD BEPS Action Plan, especially in pertaining to the aspect of control, income qualification, and tax relief. Through juridical-normative research and qualitative approach, it is found that the main differences are prevalent in the scope of indirect controller, mandatory disclosure, tax jurisdiction, and method of tax relief, which are incorporated as policy recommendations to further strengthen the CFC regulation in Indonesia.

However, referring to Freire’s educational theory for freedom which revealed 4 important points: the relationship between teacher and student, educational methods, educational curriculum, and educational goals, it obtained that education in homeschooling had not been fully liberated because the curriculum was still followed the rules and due to problems of education costs which caused not all people could experience this type of education, 2) PKBM Homescholing Primagama Solo had implemented character education through reflective learning. The implementation of the four levels of reflective learning hierarchy: habitual action, understanding, reflection, and critical reflection had an impact on the self-development and critical thinking of homeschooling students. The more students move to the right and have broader critical thinking in the continuum of the hierarchy, the learning outcomes in homeschooling are expected to be of higher quality.
